Singing Contest Success
After a busy few weeks we were straight into our Singing Contest 2022, with 14 finalists taking to the stage upstairs in the Venue Theatre Ratoath.
The stage looked amazing and performers were nervous but despite that, they were super cool in the limelight. We had such a mix of talent and all ages.
We were delighted to be joined by Amy Penston, Jacinta McIntyre and Leah Barniville, as judges. Huge songs from Requeim, to Castle on a Cloud, A Million Dreams and even one original composition, made a tough call for the panel, who gave constructive and positive feedback to all the finalists. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to really show what they could do.
Without further ado, congratulations to winners, Laura and Grace, sisters, who sang Paradise from Footloose, seamlessly. Eve took second place with her amazing vocal and finally Eva won over the judges with her faultless Castle on a Cloud.
Well done to everyone involved and huge thanks to family and friends who supported their performers. We can't wait for next year!
