Our team

Addictedtodance provides training for children from the age of 4-18 years in dance, singing and acting. We currently have over 150 students and have been operating since 2011. 

Our classes are structured according to age and ability, with a strong emphasis on fun and enjoyment. All students receive training in dance, acting and singing by professionally trained teachers.

We are proud to be part of the community of Ratoath, Co. Meath, where every student is nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential, as personalities develop and confidence grows. We encourage our students to be themselves in a safe environment .

Aisling Rountree is Managing Director and Founder of the theatre school, Addictedtodance, based in Ratoath, Co. Meath. 

Aisling started dancing at the young age of 8 with Dance Fusion and NPAS, studying jazz, musical theatre, street-dance and funk. She continued her training at Inchicore College Of Further Education,  specialising in Ballet, jazz, contemporary and tap. After 2 years of training she received her diploma in dance performance and full teaching qualification under the Imperial Society of Teachers in Jazz.

Aisling also trains in Ballroom/Latin dance under the instruction of Brian Redmond, of RTE's Dancing with the Stars.

Amanda joined the AddictedtoDance team in September 2021 - completing the A-Team (Aisling, Aisling and Amanda!). 

Amanda teaches drama to the Atd students on Mondays and is also running the Atd Drama Exam Classes which take place on a Thursday evening in the Venue Theatre. Students are working towards Irish Board of Speech and Drama Examinations.

Amanda has a Higher Diploma in Drama & Arts Education and has also trained with the Gaiety School of Acting. She most recently appeared as Maureen in the Ratoath Venue Players' production of The Beauty Queen of Leenane.
