About Aisling Rountree


Over the years Aisling has worked as Choreographer for numerous musical societies across Meath and Dublin, some of which include Trim Musical Society, Saint Mary’s Musical Society, Dunboyne Musical Society, Teachers Musical Society, Ratoath Musical Society and Meath Youth Musical Society.

Aisling runs a Transition Year dance program with numerous secondary schools. She currently trains students in Dunboyne Community College, Ballymakenny College in Drogheda and Mercy Convent, Navan. She also runs a FREE dance program funded by the school at Luttrellstown Community College on a weekly basis.

Her other work includes Choreographer World of Musicals with GFD productions, which toured Germany in 2015.

She teaches dance and musical theatre at St. Ultans Special Needs School, Navan.

As a trained ballroom/latin dancer, Aisling has choreographed a huge number of Strictly come Dancing fundraisers for clubs and schools, providing professional training. Clubs include St Brigid's GAA, Dunshaughlin and Drumree GAA, Meath Camogie and many more.

Aisling is currently employed by Meath Local Sports Partnership running online dance tutorials that 100s of people have registered for and take part in.

As a performer, Aisling has performed with numerous musical societies across Meath and Dublin including Festival Productions playing the part of “Ermengarde” in Hello Dolly, “Bird Girl” in Suessical, with Greenhills Musical Society, “Dorcas" in Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, with Cecilian Musical Society, “Brooke” in Ratoath Musical Society's production of Legally Blonde in 2016.

Aisling was fortunate enough to be part of the AIMS 50th Anniversary Concert, which took place in the Bord Gais Theatre, in October 2015 and most recently performing on the Ray Darcy show.
